I watched you on CNN yesterday morning. I listened to your speech made in front of the hole you are hiding in. Your words seemed brave but your hole was in plain view and it spoke louder than your somewhat incoherent discourse on the evils of the USA. You claimed that God was giving the USA what it deserved. You claimed the USA was filled with fear from east to west, north to south. You claimed to speak for the Iraqi’s and the Palestinians and for all Muslims in the world.

It is now plain Mr. bin Laden that you are a liar and a hypocrite. You claimed after the cowardly attack on my country that you had nothing to do with it. That lie is now obvious to all because of your great pride in your own evil deeds. You have willfully murdered the innocent. You have lied before God. You have consorted with evil, thinking in your own pride to be wiser than the Word of God. These are all sins Osama. In hiding behind the Afghan people while you work your evil deeds you have been a bad neighbor and have spit on their hospitality. You seek to split the world into warring factions so that you may be seen as a prophet of God. You are the opposite of a peacemaker Osama, a false prophet. You do not honor your father and mother, you have brought shame to them. You covet your neighbors possessions and place. You bear false witness. Shall I continue Osama? You are a pawn of evil, and you seek to lead others to the brink of the abyss that awaits you.

By mailing Anthrax spores to Americans you have committed a grievous mistake. You have taken away the final constraints on the full fury of America’s potential retaliation. You have used a biological weapon, a Weapon of Mass Destruction. Do you truly understand what that means Osama? You probably thought this would push us into rash action that would further polarize Muslims against the west. We are not fooled Osama. The people who hate us now have always hated us. The people who attack us now, or in future attacks, would have done so anyway. What you have done with this insane action is to provide the impetus for a Grand Alliance between the USA and NATO, the Russias, and China. Do you think China and Russia will allow a madman on their border who is willing to use weapons of mass destruction? Who seeks to whip Muslims into a fanatic mob seeking death to anyone who resists your cowardly tactics?

Six months ago things were so different Osama. The USA had isolated itself from most of the world for several years. We had grown ineffective and indifferent in our foreign relations. We were bitterly divided along party lines, racial lines, philosophical lines. We had lost much of the momentum gained in our breakthrough talks with the Russians, and developed a confrontational relationship with the Chinese. We had angered the Europeans with our reluctance to lead in international affairs and an indifferent attitude towards their needs. We had forsaken the people of the world who live under the whim of evil ambitious men like you. We had come to believe the voices among my people who were incessantly saying the USA should not lead, that we were not pure and therefore not worthy to lead.

You have changed all this Osama. You have single-handedly united the vast majority of my people. Yes there are small pockets of dissent, that was true even in WW-II. Our country is free, and people can disagree as their conscience dictates. The great majority of my people however are outraged by your cowardly actions and your lies. Some are still afraid Osama, but many more are angry. It is madness to truly frighten and anger a great power. We have resources at our disposal that you can only dream of. Your resources will systematically be destroyed or seized. We will redouble our efforts to build better relations with those Muslim states that understand the threat you pose to them. We will do what we can to promote peace between the Palistinians and the Israelis. We will build an international coalition that includes every nuclear power in the world. This coalition will eventually become judge, jury, and executioner for every madman on our planet who seeks to destroy others with weapons of mass destruction and terrorist actions. You will become the hunted, not the hunters. In countries less moral than ours your families will suffer. It will not be easy, in fact it will be ugly. Many who deserve to live will die, but you leave us no choice. This happens in every war, and we did not ask for war, you did. If we are careful we will do more good than harm. We will destroy you and your followers. Keep showing us pictures of your inner circle, Osama. When they are all destroyed our work will be well along to completion. Better dead martyrs than living terrorists. Despite your statements about piety of purpose, you will not achieve Paradise, a different place awaits you. It is the place where those who murder the innocent, lie, violate the traditions of hospitality, bear false witness, and dishonor their father and mother go. "They shall dwell amidst scorching winds and seething water, in the shade of pitch-black smoke." (Sura 56 of the Quran)

You have consigned yourself to the fate you have created in your evil pride.
